Steripath, and Steripath Micro, are FDA 510(k)-cleared with a specific indication to reduce blood culture contamination for sepsis testing accuracy.

They come as easy-to-use, preassembled, and sterile, closed vein-to-bottle collection systems that actively divert and sequester the initial aliquot of blood and then allow uncontaminated collection through an independent second flow path.

Steripath and Steripath Micro come with a variety of inlet and outlet options to allow you to optimize the professional and patient experience you need.  Inlet options include Luer, 21g & 23g butterfly needles.  Outlet options include 5, 10 & 20 mL syringes or wide-neck / long-neck transfer adaptors for collection directly into the bottle of your choice.
